About

Who runs SaySEO, and why we write for guests

We started from a small, annoying fact: people get quoted all the time and the quote rarely arrives with a link.

What we do

SaySEO is a self-serve marketplace for buying individual dofollow backlinks, editorial placements and link insertions, on traffic-vetted websites. The list holds 50,000+ donor domains.

Every row carries Domain Rating, organic traffic, referring domains, niche, language and price. Prices start at $1 per link and reach about $500 for top domains, with no subscription.

Our focus is a reader we find easy to like. That means a founder who sat for a podcast in 2026, a consultant quoted in a roundup, or a specialist whose name appears without a URL. Most of what we publish helps them ask the humans first.

Our numbers come from our own crawler and our own index. We say when something is a guess, and every worked example is marked as an example.

What we do not do

We do not promise rankings. We do not offer bots that post links on your behalf, and we explain why in the red flags page.

No invented customers, quotes or awards live on this site. If we ever show a result, it will be one we can describe, with a date.

Pages carry the SaySEO editorial team byline, never a made-up person.

Publishers can also sell links on their own sites, setting a price and approving every placement, with weekly payouts. Use the account page for that and for any question about your orders.

Why guests, of all people

Guests are the most under-served readers in link building. They did the hard part already.

Someone with an audience chose to put their voice next to yours, and that is a stronger signal than most links. The trouble is that the signal often stays in audio, where Google, Ahrefs and Semrush cannot read it.

So our pages do two things in order. First they help you turn the mention into a link by asking, which is free and often works. Only then do they show where a bought placement fits, and how to keep it modest, relevant and recorded.

How an order works

Find links, add them to the basket, review the basket, pay, and watch the placement go live. Nothing is charged until you pay.

You choose a content mode for each order: automatic from a target URL and keyword, your own instructions, or your own finished article. The read-through on how an order runs shows each click.

Orders can also arrive by REST API with a Bearer key, or from an AI agent over MCP in ChatGPT or Claude. The agent can browse donors and fill a basket. Paying it stays a human step.

Balance is topped up in the dashboard, never by API. Invoices and proforma invoices are there when your accountant asks.

How we write

We write the way a host talks: one idea at a time, with the awkward parts left in. When the honest answer is 'it depends', the page says what it depends on.

Dated facts, such as Google's December 2022 link spam update or the March 2024 core update, come with their month. Numbers about our product come from the product itself. Everything else is labelled as an example.

If a page here is wrong, tell us through the account page and we will correct it.
